Through BasketPlanner, as a trainer or a coach, you will be able to manage attendances, evaluate various performance & game statistics, also create & evaluate practice plans. BasketPlanner offers you a one stop service for managing your basketball team. Forget about the tedious task of keeping records using handwritten notes and practice plans. BasketPlanner can provide a lot of assistance and bring in tons of improvement overall in the way you manage your team.
In 2020 BasketPlanner has been rewritten using the latest version of Laravel. The theme also has been updated from Unicorn to AdminLTE v3.
DEVELOPMENT
BasketPlanner is a product of several years of development, continuously expanding to fulfill the needs of a trainer and or coach. With the current release, BasketPlanner can assist trainers and coaches in various ways. With ongoing development, the features list is still expanding.
EASY ACCESS
BasketPlanner was designed as a responsive web page, allowing access from mobile devices as well as desktop computers. To access your information all you need is an active internet connection. It works in all major browsers (Firefox, Chrome, and Edge).
SCHEDULING
Planning is key, and BasketPlanner will help you with all your planning. It features a detailed practice planner, allowing you to design practice plans. Besides practice plans, it can store detailed information about the game schedule as well. In short, it will help you with all your planning needs.
KEEPING RECORDS
BasketPlanner was designed to keep records related to players, practices and games. For example, coaches, as well as players, can evaluate each practice using a predesigned evaluation format. Collecting this information will give you tons of information on how your practices are percieved.
Practice Planner
BasketPlanner features a drag and drop interface to facilitate the creation of practice plans. It allows the coach to drag and drop drills on a timetable. The dropped drills can be adjusted in various ways, e.g. drill length, focal point and additional information. Designed practice plans can be easily exported to a printable PDF format.
New drills can be easily added through the drill management interface. BasketPlanner also allows the export and import of multiple drills, allowing coaches to easily share drills.
Statistics Analyser
The Statistics Analyser is a very powerful tool which can be used to evaluate for example game statistics. The Analyser can provide insight on how your team performs during Home and Away games, Wins and Loses and combinations.
All the information is presented in various graphs, allowing for easy comparison between different situations.
Member Area
Players can use BasketPlanner as well, not only can the program assist in observing and analyzing their own performance through game and practice statistics, it also serves as a tool to communicate with their teammates and coaching staff.
When a player is unable to attend a practice or a game they can update their availability through the member area. This information is instantly available for the coaches.
Polls and Surveys
As a trainer and or coach you can create polls, surveys or even exams to monitor player progress. Ask your players questions through polls or surveys and evaluate the outcome.
You can even provide Exams, with grading, to test your players on certain subjects. A certificate will be issued when a player has passed the exam.
